Brainstorming Local Possibilities – following the presentation by Ruth & Phil on their 3 Creative Field afternoons in the UK
- Introduce CFP to already existing groups; use your pre-existing group connections
- Specifically inviting friends, family, co-workers to experience CFP
- Use CFP small groups as a follow-up possibility after an event
- Share our personal experience of CFP – best way to ignite interest
- Do CFP session as part of a larger event
- Put CFP link on your Facebook page, then when people “Like” it, follow up to ask what they liked about it
- Ask to be part of Thrive Solutions, Shift Network, Off the Mat, etc. so the CFP is part of their website “Affiliates”
- On speaking tour, find out where conscious groups are, have speakers go there
- Pulse of Spirit – could selectively email CFP info to Pulse recipients in that area
- Testimonials on promo posters, website
- Offer CFP at seniors centers – they have time, space
- Use our social media to promote hosting groups
- One day event in other language, e.g. Spanish
- Have material translated into other languages
- Use EDL members from further away (whole world) to put on CF day, using the kit
- Remember to use virtual technology
- Start simple and small to gain experience, confidence
- Be willing to volunteer to speak
- Be aware of culture and socio-economics of area where you will speak
- Have CF day at Sunrise after Sunday service for new folk
- Connect with friends, neighbors e.g. Estes Park
- If putting on a 1-day event, have a partner help
- Join the Creative Field cards on literature table
- Have CF group for Sunrise interns; could continue when they leave
- Use what is natural in your work – already existing groups
- Have core people for follow-up later
- Speak at events of existing groups
- Have national CF festival – e.g. Latin America, Norway
- Write magazine article about CFP
- Utilize sacred space in hospitals
- Poster in live-in community / spiritual center
- Include outreach when visiting family; utilize their connections
- Wherever you are, keep an eye out for venues
- Collect emails for follow-up
- Novalis – afternoon introductory program
- Run the program at SR Wednesday before supper, then supper and service
- Roving / travelling trainer, assistant
- After CFC event in South Africa – follow-up event 2 weeks later
- Bookmarks in conference guest rooms
- ARISE database – share CF invitation
- Online offerings used more – small vignettes
- Use plain language; find words that resonate in your world
- Things from a different country/culture may be more welcome
- Church meets spirit
- Create a downloadable flyer you can print out and post / distribute
- Invite people to sit in and “test drive” the CFP experience
- Have people in place so when there is response, there is a leader or friend in an existing group
- Create a CFP program that lasts a year – certificate of success. Hybrid live and virtual
- Use at Festivals, Summits, etc. have everyone watch it in process, then have everyone do it
- Create Meet-Up CF groups at www.meetup.com
- CF cameos – ask presenters questions, record to show
- Travelling – database people already participating – run a group with them
- CF rep. is coming to your area for a live demo
- Facilitator training on CFP Day
